El Centro de la Promesa Azul (Center of the Blue Promise)
El Centro de la Promesa Azul, AKA El Centro, was established in September of 2023 to serve as a central hub for all activities and programs associated with the DHSI Title V Grant from the Department of Education. Located on the lower level of Niebuhr Hall, El Centro provides all members of Elmhurst University community, but especially our growing Hispanic student population, with a culturally integrated resource center to engage their peers, participate in programs to enhance student success, health and wellness, and capacity building as future leaders. El Centro collaborates across the university with offices and departments to connect students to the resources needed to excel in their chosen areas of study. Partners include the Learning Center, the Student Financial Services, Student Activities, Office of Global Engagement and Office of Admissions.
